Mr. Gakuua serves as an executive director and functions in the office of Director Finance and Administration. He seats in the trustee board that manages Maranatha International Counseling Foundation which is a subsidiary arm managing KIBCo's CSR structures. Gakuua is the founder One Global Connections Ltd, a training and consultancy firm and works as part time training consultant with D. Light Ltd, a social enterprise which has operations across Africa. He is a Member of the Professional Trainers Association of Kenya (PTAK). He has wide hands on experience having worked also in the banking and insurance industries as a manager. 

He is a B.com (UON) graduate, a holder of a Diploma in Public Relations and Management from KIM (Kenya Institute of Management) as well as Ethics Officer Certification Program (EOSP) from Ethics Institute of South Africa.
